Try it! Simple formula to divide.
- Go to cell A1 and type 1.
- Go to cell B1 and type 5.
- Go to cell C3 and type the = (equal sign) followed by the constants and operators that you want to use in the calculation.
e.g. type in cell C3 the formula =B1/A1 - Press Enter.
Note:
Data: 1 and 5
Formula: =B1/A1
Description: the formula divides the value in cell B1 by the value in A1.
Result: =B1/A1
